Pond fairy

All right I admit it now, my favourite technique seems to be crocheting with beads and without beads. I never suspected this, but here's another example of this kind :)

What's in the box?

And here is a little present for my dear colleague Sophie. I used Miyuki triangles for this necklace. I got to like crocheting recently, so you will see more similar projects soon.

IMGP1621 Originally uploaded by maricka Another one of the crocheted series. The teal beads look so great when the light shines through them. This was again a wonderful journey to make, great meditation as we are getting closer to winter.

Silver snake

Zaphira

Well this is my first encounter with Magatama beads, it has been a pleasure. They have such a unique shape and come in so beautiful colours. I just love them. This bracelet looks like the back of a dragon, so I named it after the blue dragon from Eragon. Pattern by: Beadworks magazine

Blue Bellatrix

Image
So I try to keep my most important new year resolution, that is why I share this necklace with you today.         I loved the Bellatrix pendant from Trytobe, so I made another one in a different colour. I am really happy with the result, for me these are winter colours, so this represents winter and a hint of spring. Already waiting for the spring, maybe my next project will truly invite spring in, maybe not. And also I need to prepare two presents for the PIF game. Almost finished them already, just some finishing touches missing.

New year, new resolutions

Image
Our new year's eve party was really quiet this year, so I had a little time to think about the new year resolutions. So here they are: sleep more, eat less, laugh more, have more fun in life in general and the most important to come out with a new art creation every single week and update my blog more often. So my first creation this year, which is an old one left in half for a long time, but now I had the creative energy to finish it.

There were so many beautiful pieces on the contest. Congratulations to everybody. The Hungarian girls won a lot, I'm so proud, makes me smile. I did not win, but it was so much fun to compete, I totally enjoyed it, thank you Simone. Please check out the winners on this page: Bellatrix contest

Tree of life

My first tree of life, I'm very happy with it. I hope you like it too. I used rose quartz stones, which is the stone of love, strengthens our affinity to loyalty.

Entered a contest

Image
Recently I have entered a contest organised by Perle4you Simone. The results are not known yet, but it was such fun to enter a contest like this. She sent all of the contestants a free pattern and we had to create something involving a piece according to the pattern. It was soooo much fun, thank you Simone.
